He Is Risen!

He is risen! He is risen indeed! Since we could not attend Easter Mass in person last year due to Covid lockdowns, it was all the sweeter to see the church decorated with flowers and experience Easter Mass again in person. It was also nice to see more people in the pews.

If you don’t attend Mass regularly, and only go on Easter and Christmas, I hope that you felt the love of Christ through the readings, the homily, the friendly smiles (albeit only the crinkled eyes due to mask wearing) of the people around you, and through the wonderful realization that Jesus Christ died for us, and rose from the dead to open the gates of heaven for all of us.

You are loved, you are wanted, and the doors are open to you. Is your heart open? It can quickly be filled, and refilled, again and again with the love of Christ every time you go to Mass. Feed your soul, and celebrate God’s everlasting love. Happy Easter!
